Humble Root is a legacy provider of value cannabis products, dedicated to price, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic B2B Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is integral to our mission of expanding our brand presence throughout California.
As a B2B Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by acquiring new clients and managing existing relationships with dispensaries, wholesalers, and other cannabis related businesses. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, delivering tailored product solutions, and negotiating contracts that align with both client and company goals. Your ability to build strong, lasting partnerships will be critical to your success in this role.
I. General Job Description
This position will focus on B2B brand sales and outreach, building long term partnerships across California. The contractor will prioritize pipeline development, onboarding, and compliance aligned sales execution.

II. Minimum Job Qualifications
Proven B2B sales experience in the cannabis industry.
Established industry network and client relationships.
III. Desired Job Qualifications
Proficiency with Adobe Suite, METRC, Blaze, and Google Suite.
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience presenting and closing at the wholesale level.
Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
Over 21 years of age with valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
IV. Responsibilities & Duties
Identify and target new B2B clients including dispensaries and wholesalers.
Conduct market research to uncover new sales opportunities.
Assist clients with onboarding, account setup, and first orders.
Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and ensure satisfaction.
Deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Serve as primary account manager and main point of contact for clients.
Educate clients on products, cultivation methods, and strain information.
Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy and market development.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and prepare contracts in compliance with regulations.
Travel for client visits, industry events, trade shows, and outreach initiatives.
Ensure all activities meet state and local cannabis regulations.
V. Contractor Requirements
Well organized, detail oriented, and customer focused.
Self starter with strong procurement and negotiation skills.
Understanding of financial and business management principles.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and create actionable strategies.
VI. Work Arrangement
Independent contractor (1099).
Part time role with flexible scheduling in coordination with CEO and sales leadership.
Travel within California required for client development and outreach.
VII. Commission Structure
Compensation is commission based and will be outlined in the independent contractor agreement. Structure may include base commission on sales revenue, bonuses for new account openings, tiered accelerators for monthly revenue, and retention incentives for long term clients.
